Preservation Trust announces 23rd annual Lemonade Days festival for April 19-23, 2023

DUNWOODY, GA, January 17, 2023 – Dunwoody Preservation Trust announces its 23rd Lemonade Days Festival, a five-day event to be held this coming spring at beautiful Brook Run Park in Dunwoody.

Begun in 1999, the first Lemonade Days was held as a relief effort for those families affected by the 1998 tornado that tragically destroyed entire Dunwoody neighborhoods. It has since grown into a five-day festival with something for everyone that has historically attracted more than 30,000 festival-goers. 

The 2023 Lemonade Days will again feature full-scale carnival rides, fabulous food-and-beverage vendors; pony rides; a petting zoo; and the popular Dunwoody Idol contest. 

The Lemonade Days Festival is the only fundraiser of the Dunwoody Preservation Trust (DPT), with the profits going to the continued rehabilitation and maintenance of the historic 1870 Donaldson-Bannister Farm (a partnership of the DPT and the City of Dunwoody, voted as a Georgia 2021 award winner for the best Meeting & Event Facilities by the Georgia Business Journal), as well as numerous community events, educational programs for children and adults and Dunwoody’s only history camp for kids.

The festival will run April 19-23, 2023, with the following hours of operation:

Wed., April 19, 4pm-10pm

Thurs., April 20, 4pm-10pm

Fri., April 21, 4pm-10pm

Sat., April 22, 10am-10pm

Sun., April 23, 12 noon-6pm

Wristbands for unlimited rides are available for $20 on Family Nights (Wednesday and Thursday) and $25 (Friday – Sunday). Single tickets may be purchased for $1.25. Brook Run Park is located at 4770 North Peachtree Road in Dunwoody, Georgia 30338.
