Every Bees, Teas, and Honey session will be different! This fun and educational family program will be offered once a month on a Thursday from 10am to 11am. Come taste fresh forest teas and honey from local hives while we learn about beekeeping, pollinators, and special forest plants from Beekeeper and Master Naturalist  Katie Hendrickson. This session we will will focus on what’s fresh in the forest! We will learn about hummingbirds and other pollinators! 

This fun workshop is for young friends 3-10 years old and their adult friend/caregiver/parent. Children must be accompanied by an adult, this is not a drop off program. 

$30 per pair – $15 per extra child! If you are bringing an additional child, you must also register them. 

Naturalist Katie Hendrickson connects all ages to Nature through plants, flowers, herbs and honey. With 30+ years experience as a Master Gardener, Beekeeper, Herbalist, and Heritage Cooking Instructor; Katie has been leading workshops, classes, and trainings to preserve the magic of native plants and heirloom gardening practices.

This class will take place in the Main Building and the sun-porch and will go on rain or shine.
