2024 Annual Job Tax Credit Ranking

The 2024 annual rankings for the Job Tax Credit Program have been designated under the provisions of Georgia Code sections 48-7-40(b) and 48-7-40.1(b). As with all the 2024 Job Tax Credit Program information, the attached detailed memo of the County Rankings, and a map of the 2024 County Tiers will available and may be accessed within a week on the Job Tax Credit section of the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) web page. Additional information on the Job Tax Credit Program, including regulations and forms, may also be found on DCAs Job Tax Credit web page at:

DCA ranking criteria for 2024 used geography based on the 2020 Census Tract boundaries for the 2024 Census Tract designations. To rank census tracts, DCA used American Community Survey 5-year data released in December 2023. Please read the memo carefully for additional information on the Census Tract designations. A detailed listing of the designated Less Developed Census Tracts will be available and may be accessed within a week on the Less Developed Census Tract section of the DCA web page.
Areas adjacent to a Military installation have been reviewed for eligibility based on detail under the provision of Georgia Code section 48-7-40.1(c)(2). Additionally, areas in a county that contain a federal military installation with a garrison of at least 5,000 federal or military personnel combined and contains an industrial park that is owned and operated by a governmental entity have been reviewed for eligibility based on detail under the provision of Georgia Code section 48-7-40.1(c)(2.1). A detailed listing of Military Zones will available and may be accessed within a week on the DCA Military Zone section of the DCA web page.
