Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber Presents the Return to the Perimeter Series

The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber will host the virtual Return to the Perimeter series, starting Thursday, May 21, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The series will present insight from panels of industry experts on rebuilding the post-COVID-19 economy regarding healthcare, technology, and the workforce. Here are the panels and the dates they will be produced:       

  • Return to the Perimeter | A Conversation with Dr. George "Bud" Peterson – On Thursday, May 21 at 11 a.m., former President of Georgia Tech Dr. George “Bud” Peterson will share his thoughts on how technology will help shape business in the post-COVID-19 economy. The event will be moderated by Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber Board Member, Shirley Borghi, TruBiz Partners Inc. & Executive Director & Co-Vice Chairman of the Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia.
  • Return to the Perimeter | Reopening the Workplace – On Thursday, May 28 at 11 a.m., we will discuss how some of the largest employers in the Perimeter Market are making plans to return more than 100,000 employees to work. Panelists include Bill Baker, Senior General Manager Perimeter Mall; Joann Schuster Operations Manager in Underwriting, State Farm; Chris Kirk, Senior Director, Internal Control & Compliance Cox Enterprises/Cox Automotive. This panel will be moderated by Jennifer Boettcher, Director of Communications for the City of Dunwoody.
  • Return to the Perimeter | Healthcare in the Perimeter – On Thursday, June 11 at 11 a.m., we will discuss how healthcare providers are meeting the demands of the region during the pandemic. Panelists include Kathleen Funk, Northside Hospital and an Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital representative. The panel will be moderated by Tamira M. Moon, Program Manager, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.
  • Return to the Perimeter | Conversation with Mayor of Dunwoody, Lynn Deutsch – On Thursday, June 25 at 11 a.m., Dunwoody Mayor Lynn Deutsch will discuss what she’s learned from the past three months and what’s ahead for the remainder of the year as the City of Dunwoody experiences a new normal in operations and providing support to citizens. This conversation will be moderated by Jennifer Boettcher, Director of Communications for the City of Dunwoody.
